UNIT 5 ELECTRIC GENERATOR ROTOR REPAIR SERVICE

Rotor rewinding, Stator Maintenance and repair of bearings of the U5 electric generator of 203.6 MVA, 18 kV, 3600 RPM of the GE brand.

The scope of the service includes:

• Disassembly of the electric generator.
• Rotor removal.
• Inspection, cleaning and non-destructive tests.
• Work to be done on the rotor.
• Repair of generator bearings.
• Review and repair of air and hydrogen seals of the generator.
• Stator maintenance.
• Assembly of the generator.
• Electrical tests after the assembly of the generator.
• Checks prior to start-up and in operation.
• Commissioning.
